Low monthly rates. Do not have rental car coverage, but after having a hit and run due to my uninsured motorist property damage add on at no extra cost, rental car is covered under that policy. I also have property damage liability, bodily injury liability.
THE ONLY THING I COULD COMPLAIN ABOUT IS THE PREMIUM THOUGH IT IS COMPARABLE TO OTHER INSURANCE COMPANIES.
Customer support is always quick and easy when you have a question or problem.
I don't like that there are price increases every 6 months, which almost make the discounts obsolete because if they say they'll give a few dollars off for good driving but then majorly increase premium, it doesn't help that much at all!!
I dislike needing to call them to tell them something has happened (just because of the stress), but I have no complaints about the overall behavior of the company. Any time I had problems or issues, I could call customer service and get them resolved or explained in a way satisfactory to me.
I did not like the fact that they kept getting my name confused with my mom and my biological dad that I do not have contact with. My insurance rates went up because of their mistake and yet they hardly did anything to adjust it. Every month I went on my account and still saw my biological dads name under my insurance, which I tried to manually remove but was not able to.
I'm put on hold for a pretty long time with customer service, but other than that I've had positive experiences.
There is really nothing that I dislike about State Farm Insurance. If there was I would find another company to do business with.
The premium is $1778 every 6 months. This is expensive but the car is 2017 Jaguar XJL that costs over $90K new. I am a longtime Allstate customer so I have not shopped with other companies but assume the cost is comparable. To change insurers would involve 2 other vehicles and the house
