it is the same company as the home insurance so the customer service experience is the same as in previous answer.
My car insurance policy is on par with other providers. I recently shopped for insurance and found that other companies offer very similar offerings. However, my current company beat the others on price.
Their offerings are quite good comparing to other companies. They do offer some features and discounts then other company dont offer.

The company was completely cooperative and friendly when I did have to deal with them. Usually I deal with the agent who is also very nice.
The company needs a more standardized follow-up procedure. They are a little too sporadic in their communication.
Customer support used to be a little on the negative side but over the last 5 years the customer service has really improved especially in the claims division.
I wish premiums were lower, but I know why they are not. I am also a former employee of my insurance company as well a as a customer. what I dislike stems from knowing how things work in the claims center and how the employees are treated
I have no real complaints about our auto insurance. However, when we had an issue with storm damage Erie was very difficult to work with. Our agent was fine but the claims adjuster that was sent out was very rude.
They offer home, auto, renters and life insurance
Currently I have nothing to criticize State Farm about and the only thing I would like from them is a cheaper rate, however, I must pay my fair share.
