Driving Record:

Most car insurance companies offer substantial discounts to drivers with a clean driving record. GEICO offers a 26% discount to drivers with a spotless driving record for five years, while State Farm offers discounts for drivers who go three or more years with an accident-free record. With the advent of modern technology in the car insurance industry, Usage-Based Insurance (UBI) is increasingly being used to personalize car insurance. UBI works through both plugin devices and mobile apps. It keeps track of various factors in one’s car, making insurance rates more personalized.

For instance, post-DUI, the cost of auto insurance in Evansville, can mount up to $1,772 from $1,145. That’s significantly more than the average cost of auto insurance in Evansville. Other driving violations can prove to be very expensive as well. Some of them include driving with an expired license and using a cellphone while driving.

Discounts for Students:

Teenagers in Evansville pay $3,715 a year on car insurance. Though they bear the brunt of being inexperienced drivers, insurance companies offer discounts to teenage students with good grades in school. For instance, Allstate offers stellar discounts to smart students based on their grades and proximity to the school (100 miles). Alongside these requirements, the teenage driver must be under the age of 25 and must also complete Allstate’s “teenSMART Driver Education Program.” State Farm’s “Good Student” program offers discounts of up to 25% to teenage students who have good grades. Farmers offers similar discounts to students (with good grades) under the age of 25 as well.

Anti-Theft Discounts:

Car insurers across Arizona offer discounts to drivers that install anti-theft devices. GEICO offers a discount of up to 25% on installing approved anti-theft devices or alarms. Progressive, too, offers discounts of up to 25% on anti-theft devices and alarms.

Equipping one’s vehicles with the latest anti-theft devices will help in saving more. A passive disabling device helps save the most on auto insurance in Evansville. It can help in saving up to $80.

Multi-Car Insurance:

Car insurance companies provide discounts to car owners who insure multiple cars with the same insurance company. However, discounts on multi-car insurance policies vary according to the make and model of the vehicle. The cost of insuring two vehicles under a multi-car insurance policy in Evansville is $1,969, while the cost of insuring four vehicles under this policy is $3,939. Bundling is another standard method of availing discounts. If a customer purchases multiple policies (life, car, home) from the same insurer, they become eligible for discounts.

Latest Auto Insurance Reviews in Evansville, IN | Back to Top

Geico has good customer service, decent rates, accident forgiveness, discounts and they really try to keep your business. They are the best of what I have been able to find by shopping around in 20 years.
State Farm
For the price of our policy, we have a good deductible. State Farm has several different discounts available in which we can take advantage of to lower our policy cost.
I would recommend them, but am (honestly) not sure how much better/worse they are than other companies. They don't give the personal one-on-one service that a local insurance agent gives.
Are some insurance providers better suited to my needs than others company.
They offer accident forgiveness once every five years I believe. We have had two claims, one major claim so this has helped keep our premiums down.
Farmer's Insurance
they have better rates then other insurances to have see for yourself then you deciede for yourself
Cheapest I've found. Two cars, both full coverage, one new, 250 dollar deductible, less than 150 a month. Progressive was almost 400 a month and we had 500 deductible and an older car then.
Farmer's Insurance
The policy covers basic repairs and accident insurance, when my windscreen was smashed by a storm it did not cover it.
State Farm
Policy offerings are the same, I maybe could pay a little more elsewhere but I'm happy where I'm at, and a little afraid to change to a different insurance company honestly.
Geico has annoying commercials but other than that we have been completely happy with Geico's services.
State Farm
My premium is not that high, a little on the mid level side. As I was with a company who didn't cover as much but they charged more, and they are a competitor of my company. Premium is low, and goes down every six months or so.
Farmer's Insurance
The coverage we receive from Farmers has been good. There are, however, several other reputable companies offering the same policies for a better premium.
I love the company's overall customer service, the fact that they take time to listen to us their clients is a big turn on bonus for me
Auto-Owners Insurance
The company has met the standards of good service and has given me confidence that I am looking for my auto insurance
Safety Insurance
They have always been extremely helpful and extremely thorough when explaining things. They have been very informative and easy to work with.
I like that they have a mobile app that allows me to see my premium as well as check on coverages. I also like that I dont have to wait on hold to speak to someone and I can use the app first.
Encompass Insurance
They have good coverage for a great price, and they are easy to work with. They have answered all of our questions and taken care of any problems.
There has never been any problem with communication, either by text, by email, by phone, or anything. I really stand by this company and what they offer
