This makes New Jersey the 11th most expensive state to buy auto insurance. New Jersey has been called the ‘car theft capital’ of the world, with Newark leading the country in car theft numbers. This has also led to an increase in auto insurance rates.

GEICO

$500 for 6 Months

Originally, I thought the Geico ads were just a lot of hype without any substance to back them up. However, I decided to do the research and I found that they had the qualifications to back up the claims. I switched over and I have not regretted the decision once. The rates I pay now are a whole lot lower than what I had to deal with before. Their customer service is also top notch. Setting up my account was no problem, and getting in touch with a representative is no problem. I have a great driving record, but most insurers would punish me for my age; not Geico, though. I'm so glad to know that my Accord is in good, safe hands whenever I go on the road, and since I often have to drive across state lines, that's a comfort well worth having.
