Latest Auto Insurance Reviews in Oregon

Allstate

$225 for a six month

Auto insurance costs me and my wife about $225 for a six month policy on our 2004 Honda Odyssey. We live in Medford, Oregon and both my driving record and my wife's driving record are immaculate with no accidents or tickets for many years. We are both in our 30s and have children. My wife does most of the driving as she is at home with the children, I ride my bicycle to work so I only do about 20% of the driving. Our auto insurance is with Allstate through local agent David Martin and we've been carrying full coverage through Allstate for about ten years now, we carry full coverage because it doesn't save us enough to drop to liability only so we feel safer. I love my insurance provider, they have helped me through some issues over the years that I never would have expected and have kept me coming back to them despite the possibility of a somewhat lower premium elsewhere. All in all I would rate Allstate as a 5+ on a 5 point scale based on their willingness to provide great service at all times.

GEICO

I checked out GEICO car insurance after seeing their flashy commercials. I chose to stay because of their 24/7 accident claim as well as their prepaid rental car service. Representatives are always polite when I've spoken to them on the phone, and always have the answers I'm looking for. I've found competitors to quote cheaper prices than my current plan, however the service GEICO provides is a security worth paying a few extra bucks for. For example, they offer no deductibles on all glass repairs, so I feel secure driving over rocky roads with dusty gravel spewing about. I chose to stay with GEICO for their driver incentives as well as their outstanding care for their clients. I highly recommend them and give them an overall 4/5, minus one star for being pricier than my competitors.
